Sáng ngày 31/12/2025, Trường Đại học Y khoa Phạm Ngọc Thạch long trọng tổ
chức Lễ Công bố và trao Quyết định bổ nhiệm chức danh Giáo sư, Phó Giáo sư cho
các nhà giáo được Hội đồng Giáo sư Nhà nước công nhận đạt tiêu chuẩn năm 2025. Khoa Dược có 02 nhà giáo được công
nhận đạt tiêu chuẩn chức danh Giáo sư và Phó Giáo sư, cụ thể:
1. Thầy GS. TS. DS. Trần Việt Hùng
Viện trưởng Viện Kiểm nghiệm thuốc Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh;
Phó Trưởng Khoa Dược, Trưởng Bộ môn Hóa Chuyên ngành.
2. Thầy PGS. TS. DS. Võ Quang Trung
Trưởng Khoa Dược; Trưởng Bộ môn Quản lý – Kinh tế Dược.
Kết quả này đã bổ
sung và nâng cao chất lượng đội ngũ giảng viên của Khoa Dược, nâng tổng số hiện
tại lên 02 Giáo sư và 02 Phó Giáo sư. Việc hai thầy được Hội đồng Giáo
sư Nhà nước công nhận đạt tiêu chuẩn chức danh Giáo sư, Phó Giáo sư là sự ghi
nhận xứng đáng cho quá trình lao động khoa học nghiêm túc, bền bỉ và đầy tâm
huyết trong suốt nhiều năm. Đây là kết quả của sự kết hợp hài hòa giữa hoạt động
giảng dạy, nghiên cứu khoa học, hướng dẫn học viên cao học, nghiên cứu sinh,
công bố quốc tế cũng như những đóng góp quan trọng cho sự phát triển của ngành
dược và công tác đào tạo nguồn nhân lực y tế chất lượng cao.
Thầy GS. TS. DS. Trần Việt Hùng bên cạnh vai trò quản lý tại Viện Kiểm nghiệm
thuốc Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, thầy còn là nhà khoa học có uy tín trong lĩnh vực
kiểm nghiệm thuốc, đồng thời là giảng viên giàu kinh nghiệm, tận tâm trong đào
tạo sinh viên và học viên sau đại học. Trên cương vị Phó Trưởng Khoa Dược, Trưởng
Bộ môn Hóa Chuyên ngành, thầy đã có nhiều đóng góp quan trọng trong việc xây dựng
chương trình đào tạo, nâng cao chất lượng giảng dạy và phát triển định hướng
nghiên cứu khoa học gắn với thực tiễn ngành Dược.
Trên cương vị Trưởng Khoa Dược, Thầy PGS. TS. DS. Võ Quang Trung đã có nhiều
đóng góp quan trọng trong việc định hướng chiến lược phát triển Khoa, thúc đẩy
đổi mới chương trình đào tạo, tăng cường hợp tác trong nước và quốc tế, cũng
như nâng cao năng lực nghiên cứu khoa học và hội nhập học thuật của đội ngũ giảng
viên. Những đóng góp của thầy đã và đang góp phần khẳng định vị thế của Khoa Dược
trong hệ thống đào tạo dược học tại Việt Nam.

New professors and
associate professors of the faculty of pharmacy in 2025 honored to receive the
appointment decision from the university
On the morning of
December 31, 2025, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine solemnly held the
Ceremony for the Announcement and Conferment of Decisions on the Appointment of
Professors and Associate Professors in 2025 for academics who were officially
recognized by the State Council for Professorship as meeting the required
standards. This event was of great significance not only for the honored
individuals but also for the overall development of the University in general
and the Faculty of Pharmacy in particular.
Two distinguished Faculty
of Pharmacy members who were recognized in 2025 as meeting the standards for
the academic titles of Professor and Associate Professor, namely:
1. Professor. Dr.
Tran Viet Hung
Director of the Ho
Chi Minh City Institute of Drug Quality Control;
Vice Dean of the
Faculty of Pharmacy, Head of the Department of Department of Applied Chemistry
in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
2. Associate
Professor. Dr. Vo Quang Trung
Dean of the Faculty
of Pharmacy;
Head of the
Department of and Economic and Administrative Pharmacy.
The recognition of
the two professors by the State Council for Professorship represents a
well-deserved acknowledgment of their long-term dedication, rigorous scientific
work, and outstanding academic contributions. These achievements are the result
of many years of continuous engagement in teaching, scientific research,
supervision of postgraduate students, international publications, and
significant contributions to the development of pharmaceutical sciences and
high-quality healthcare workforce training.
For Prof. Tran Viet
Hung, in addition to his leadership role at the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of
Drug Quality Control, he is a highly respected scientist in the fields of
pharmaceutical chemistry and drug quality control, as well as a devoted
educator with extensive experience in training undergraduate and postgraduate
students. In his roles as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Head of the
Department of Specialized Chemistry, Professor Hung has made substantial
contributions to curriculum development, enhancement of teaching quality, and
the advancement of research directions closely aligned with practical needs of
the pharmaceutical sector.
For Assoc. Prof. Vo
Quang Trung, he is a prominent academic and educational leader in the field of
pharmacy administration and pharmaceutical economics. As Dean of the Faculty of
Pharmacy, Associate Professor Trung has played a pivotal role in shaping the
Faculty’s strategic development, promoting curriculum innovation, strengthening
national and international collaborations, and enhancing research capacity and
academic integration of faculty members. His leadership has significantly
contributed to consolidating and elevating the academic reputation of the
Faculty of Pharmacy within Vietnam’s higher education system.
The achievements of
the two professors are not only a personal honor but also a great source of
pride for the entire Faculty of Pharmacy, contributing to the enhancement of
academic prestige, educational quality, and scientific research of Pham Ngoc
Thach University of Medicine. Their success serves as a strong source of
inspiration for faculty members, researchers, and students to continue striving
for excellence and making meaningful contributions to education and community
healthcare.
On this special
occasion, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, once
again extends its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Tran Viet Hung and Assoc
Prof. Vo Quang Trung. We wish both professors continued good health, further
achievements in their academic careers, and sustained leadership in inspiring
future generations while making enduring contributions to the development of
the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University, and the pharmaceutical profession in
Vietnam.
