Trong những ngày đầu tháng 9, tại Hội trường E1, Trụ sở Tân Nhựt, Khoa Dược - Trường Đại học Y khoa Phạm Ngọc Thạch đã tổ chức buổi Sinh hoạt đầu năm học 2026 - 2027 dành cho sinh viên ngành Dược. Buổi sinh hoạt là hoạt động quan trọng được tổ chức thường niên vào đầu năm học, nhằm cung cấp cho sinh viên những thông tin cần thiết về quy chế, chương trình đào tạo, chuẩn đầu ra ngoại ngữ, nội quy học thực tập, nội quy phòng học, phòng thí nghiệm, định hướng nghiên cứu khoa học, học phần tốt nghiệp và công tác của Cố vấn học tập.
Đặc biệt, buổi sinh hoạt vinh dự có sự tham dự của Ban Giám hiệu: thầy PGS. TS. BS. Ngô Quốc Đạt - Bí thư Đảng ủy, Hiệu trưởng và thầy PGS. TS. DS. Nguyễn Đăng Thoại - Phó Hiệu trưởng. Thay mặt Ban Giám hiệu, thầy PGS. TS. DS. Nguyễn Đăng Thoại gửi lời chúc mừng đến Khoa Dược và các bạn sinh viên nhân dịp năm học mới. Đây là nguồn động viên quý báu, thể hiện sự quan tâm và đồng hành của lãnh đạo Nhà trường đối với công tác đào tạo của Khoa Dược.
Phát biểu khai mạc, thầy PGS. TS. DS. Võ Quang Trung - Trưởng Khoa Dược đã gửi lời chào mừng nồng nhiệt đến các bạn sinh viên, đặc biệt là tân sinh viên Dược 2026. Thầy cũng chia sẻ những định hướng trọng tâm của Khoa trong năm học mới, khơi dậy tinh thần chủ động, sáng tạo và trách nhiệm trong học tập và rèn luyện.
Một trong những điểm nhấn của buổi sinh hoạt là phần trao học bổng khuyến học Khoa Dược với mong muốn hỗ trợ sinh viên có hoàn cảnh khó khăn, khuyến khích tinh thần học tập và ghi nhận nỗ lực của các bạn. Chương trình có sự đồng hành của DS. CK2. Lê Phước Thành Nhân - Trưởng Khoa Dược, Bệnh viện Lê Văn Thịnh, đại diện tập thể lớp Dược 97 - Trường Dược, Đại học Y Dược Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh cùng Khoa Dược trao tặng các suất học bổng đến sinh viên:

Quy chế, chuẩn đầu ra, cấu trúc chương trình đào tạo
ThS. DS. Trần Thị Bích Hiền, Phụ trách Quản lý điều hành Văn phòng Khoa đã trình bày các nội dung quan trọng liên quan đến quy chế đào tạo, chuẩn đầu ra, cấu chương trình đào tạo, đặc biệt nhấn mạnh đến chuẩn đầu ra ngoại ngữ. Sinh viên được lưu ý nghiêm túc chấp hành các quy định nhằm đảm bảo kết quả học tập và điều kiện xét tốt nghiệp.
Quy định về học thực tập, nội quy phòng học, phòng thí nghiệm
TS. Hạng Tái Xuân Hòa, Thành viên Ban Quản trị thiết bị đã phổ biến các quy định học tập thực tập và nội quy phòng học, phòng thí nghiệm: nhấn mạnh yêu cầu tuân thủ các quy định, bảo đảm an toàn và hình thành tác phong làm việc chuyên nghiệp.
Học phần tốt nghiệp và công tác Cố vấn học tập
ThS. Nguyễn Thu Thảo, Trưởng Ban Quản lý Đào tạo Đại học đã trình bày các nội dung trọng tâm liên quan đến học phần tốt nghiệp và công tác Cố vấn học tập. Cung cấp định hướng về quá trình thực hiện học phần tốt nghiệp, đồng thời giúp sinh viên hiểu rõ hơn về vai trò của Cố vấn học tập trongquátrình học tập..
Nghiên cứu khoa học dành cho sinh viên
DS. Trần Vinh Quang, Trưởng Ban Nghiên cứu khoa học - Truyền thông - Hợp tác quốc tế đã giới thiệu các hoạt động nghiên cứu khoa học, quy định và cách thức đăng ký đề tài, góp phần khuyến khích sinh viên sớm hình thành tư duy nghiên cứu và tinh thần học thuật.
Buổi sinh hoạt đầu năm học 2026 - 2027 diễn ra trong không khí nghiêm túc, cởi mở và giàu tính định hướng, giúp sinh viên có thêm những thông tin cần thiết để bắt đầu năm học mới với tâm thế chủ động và trách nhiệm. Đặc biệt, đối với sinh viên năm nhất, đây cũng là dịp để các bạn bước đầu làm quen với môi trường đại học, gặp gỡ Thầy, Cô và các bạn sinh viên, đồng thời trang bị những thông tin cần thiết cho suốt quá trình học tập.

Orientation Session for the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year – Faculty of Pharmacy
🌿 In the early days of September, at Hall E1, Tan Nhut Campus, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the Opening Session for the 2026 - 2027 academic year dedicated to Pharmacy students. This annual event serves as a crucial orientation activity held at the beginning of each academic year, aimed at providing students with essential information regarding the training program, academic regulations, foreign language output standards, scientific research, internships, classroom and laboratory rules, graduation modules, and the role of Academic Advisors.
The session was honored by the presence and companionship of the Rector, Associate Professor, PhD, MD. Ngo Quoc Dat, and the Vice Rector, Associate Professor, PhD, PharmD. Nguyen Dang Thoai, who both attended and extended their congratulations to the Faculty of Pharmacy and all students on the occasion of the new academic year. The presence of the distinguished Rectors served as a valuable source of encouragement, demonstrating the leadership's commitment and support for the training, learning, and development of Pharmacy students.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, PhD, PharmD. Vo Quang Trung– Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy – extended a warm welcome to both new and returning students, while sharing the Faculty's key strategic directions for the new academic year, inspiring a spirit of proactiveness, creativity, and responsibility in learning and personal development.
One of the program's highlights was the awarding of the Faculty of Pharmacy's Scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year. With the aim of encouraging academic excellence, recognizing student efforts, and providing further support for their educational journey, the Faculty presented scholarships to selected students. During the program, the Faculty awarded scholarships to:
🏅 Student Nguyen Vu Huy – Pharmacy Class of 2023: a scholarship valued at 15,000,000 VND.
🏅 Student Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh – Pharmacy Class of 2024: a scholarship valued at 15,000,000 VND.
🏅 Student Nguyen Thi Huyen Tran – Pharmacy Class of 2024: a scholarship valued at 38,000,000 VND, sponsored by the alumni collective of Pharmacy Class 97, School of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City.
Each scholarship represents not only financial support but also recognition, encouragement, and trust in Pharmacy students on their academic and professional journey. The Faculty of Pharmacy sincerely thanks the individuals and sponsoring organizations for their invaluable companionship and support for our students. The values shared through this program will continue to inspire students to strive academically, proactively develop themselves, and contribute positively to the community.

Dissemination of Academic Regulations
Opening the program, MSc. Tran Thi Bich Hien – Head the Administrative Office emphasized the mission of the University and the Faculty of Pharmacy: to train high-quality healthcare professionals, harmoniously integrating scientific knowledge, professional ethics, and international integration capabilities. With a vision towards 2030, the Faculty of Pharmacy aspires to become one of the leading pharmacy training institutions in the region, focusing on applied research and innovation. Core values were reiterated as guiding principles for students' learning and development. In the academic regulations section, Ms. presented key content regarding study progress and program learning outcomes, particularly emphasizing foreign language output standards. Students were reminded to strictly comply with regulations to ensure satisfactory academic results and graduation eligibility.
Laboratory Work Regulations
PhD. Hang Tai Xuan Hoa, Member of the Division of Facility Administration – presented the regulations for practical training and the rules for classrooms and laboratories, emphasizing the need to comply with safety requirements and develop a professional working attitude.
Graduation Module Regulations
MSc. Nguyen Thu Thao, Head of the Division of Undergraduate education – presented key contents regarding graduation modules and the role of Academic Advisors, providing guidance on the graduation module process and helping students better understand the role of Academic Advisors throughout their academic journey at the Faculty.
Scientific Research Regulations
PharmD. Tran Vinh Quang, Head of Division of Research, Communication and International Relations – introduced scientific research activities, regulations, and procedures for research topic registration, encouraging students to develop research thinking and an academic mindset from an early stage.
🌱 A special highlight was the Q&A session, which created an opportunity for students to directly engage with faculty members regarding academic concerns, the training program, scientific research, and other activities for the new academic year. The 2026–2027 Opening Session took place in a serious, open, and highly informative atmosphere, equipping students with the necessary information to start the new academic year with a proactive and responsible mindset. For first-year students, this was also an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the university environment, meet faculty and fellow students, and prepare essential knowledge for their academic journey at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
