At 6.00 pm on September 08, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy conducted a comprehensive
training session on LABORATORY SAFETY AND REGULATIONS via Microsoft
Teams. This annual initiative aims to equip learners with the knowledge,
skills, and mindset needed for safe and efficient laboratory operations.
The well-structured training session successfully accomplished the following
objectives:
- Clear understanding of protocols: participants gained a thorough understanding of laboratory
procedures and regulations.
- Safety practices: the training provided practical guidance on safely
handling chemicals, operating equipment, and employing specialized
pharmaceutical research techniques.
- Incident management: students were equipped with skills to manage laboratory incidents
and implement key safety precautions.
The training
session was led by Nguyen Ha Phuc Tam (BSc. Pharm), a member of the Division of
Facility Administration, Administrative Office of the Faculty. Based on
extensive practical experience, Mr. Nguyen Ha Phuc Tam shared detailed insights
into real-world scenarios encountered during laboratory operations, deriving
valuable lessons and recommending appropriate handling procedures. The content
presented was not only theoretical but also highly practical, significantly
enhancing participants’ hands-on skills and ability to respond effectively to
unexpected situations during academic and research activities.
