On the morning of December 24,
2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine
organized an orientation session for the Graduation Internship for the academic
year 2025–2026. The session was attended by the Faculty Board, supervising
lecturers, and students of the Pharmacy class of 2021 who were assigned to
undertake the graduation internship.
At the beginning of the session, Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hien, MSc., Pharm., Head of Faculty
Office Administration, provided essential information regarding the
detailed internship outline, the internship handbook, required forms, and
general regulations at the internship sites. These contents are crucial in
helping students adequately prepare for their upcoming internship at practice
facilities starting on January 5, 2026.
In addition, Mr. Nguyen Kim
Thuan, M.Sc., Pharm.D., Ms. Vo Thi Ha, Ph.D., Pharm.D., and Ms. Ton Thi Thanh
Thao, M.Sc., Pharm.D., shared valuable information and practical experiences
gained from supervising internships over the years. Their insights equipped
students with important knowledge and skills to better support their learning
and professional development during the internship period.
Concluding the session, Mr. Vo
Quang Trung, Ph.D., Pharm.D., Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasized key
points regarding professional demeanor, ethical conduct, and the sense of
responsibility required of pharmacists in real-world practice settings. His
valuable remarks helped students gain a clearer understanding of their roles
and responsibilities, thereby fostering proactive attitudes and readiness for
this highly practice-oriented phase of their training.
Through this activity, the
Faculty of Pharmacy hopes that students will uphold a serious and professional
learning spirit, thereby contributing to the improvement of training quality
and affirming the competence of pharmacy students in real-world professional
environments. The Faculty wishes all students a productive and successful
graduation internship, through which they will gain valuable experiences for
their future professional careers.
