To
modernize examination procedures and ensure absolute fairness, starting March
3, 2026, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will officially implement Face
Recognition and Fingerprint technology for undergraduate final exams held in
computer labs.
As
per Notice No. 56/TB-BĐCLKT, the new exam procedure consists of two mandatory
steps:
1.
Biometric Check-in at the Exam Room Entrance
Before
entering the exam area, students must check in via the biometric devices
(facial and fingerprint recognition) placed at the door. Only students with
successful validation will be permitted to enter.
Note:
Students whose biometric data has not yet been collected will undergo a manual
identity check by proctors using a valid photo ID.
2.
Information Confirmation at Assigned Seats
Upon
taking their seats, students are responsible for verifying and signing the
attendance list to confirm their Exam Code and Assigned Computer
Number in accordance with regulations.

The
application of biometric technology is a key solution to prevent exam fraud and
impersonation, fostering a transparent and rigorous academic environment for
all students.
Undergraduate
students are requested to follow their exam schedules strictly and arrive on
time to complete these new attendance procedures.
