Orientation
Session for the 2025–2026 Academic Year – Faculty of Pharmacy
On the
afternoon of September 5, 2025, at Room 1.09, Medical Laboratory Center (Tan
Nhut Commune), the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the Orientation Session for
the 2025–2026 Academic Year for the 2021 cohort of pharmacy students. This
annual activity is of great significance, providing academic guidance,
disseminating training regulations, and reminding students of professional
requirements and academic standards to be strictly observed during their final
stage of study.
Opening
Remarks and Training Regulations
The program
commenced with remarks from Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hien, MSc., Pharm., Head of
Faculty Office Administration. She emphasized that the mission of the
University and the Faculty of Pharmacy is to train high-quality healthcare
professionals, harmonizing scientific knowledge, professional ethics, and
international integration. With a vision toward 2030, the Faculty of Pharmacy
strives to become one of the leading institutions of pharmacy education in the
region, pioneering applied research and innovation. The Faculty’s core values
were reaffirmed as guiding principles for students’ learning and personal
development.
In her
presentation on training regulations, Ms. Hien highlighted key aspects related
to study progress and program learning outcomes, with particular emphasis on
foreign language proficiency requirements. Students were reminded to comply
strictly with these regulations to ensure academic success and graduation
eligibility.
Graduation
Requirements
Ms. Nguyen
Thu Thao, MSc., Pharm., Head of Undergraduate Programs, presented the main
contents concerning the graduation module. Students were provided with detailed
guidance on topic selection, reporting formats, supervision procedures, and
evaluation criteria. This critical stage enables students to consolidate knowledge,
enhance research and professional skills, and demonstrate independent
competence in addressing specialized issues.
Laboratory
Regulations
Mr. Le Nhat
Linh, MSc., Pharm., Head of Equipment Administration, presented the regulations
for laboratory work. The session included strict adherence to occupational
safety rules, proper use of laboratory equipment, and accurate maintenance of
laboratory records. Observance of these rules not only ensures the safety of
individuals and collectives but also contributes to maintaining the Faculty’s
standards in education and research.
The
Orientation Session for the 2025–2026 academic year was conducted in a serious
yet open and constructive atmosphere. Through this event, the 2021–2026
pharmacy cohort not only gained a comprehensive understanding of final-year
academic requirements but also fostered a sense of responsibility, proactiveness,
and compliance - essential qualities on their journey to becoming professional
pharmacists ready to serve the healthcare needs of the community.
