The delegation assessed the training capacity of the university for two specialities level I: Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy and Odonto - Stomatology, and two specialties level II: Urology and Thoracic Surgery.
Receiving the appraisal team, there were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Hiep, President of the university, along with teachers who are leaders of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, and other departments of the university and appraisal experts. Two appraisers for the specialties level I of Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy include:

- Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thang - Deputy Head of Department of Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Nguyen Thanh Hiep thanked the appraisal team and leaders of the Ministry of Health for creating opportunities and conditions for Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine to continue its mission of training quality medical human resources for the community, meeting the practical needs of society in the field of health care.
At the meeting, after listening to the reports summarizing the graduate training capacity of the university so far and 4 applications for the assignment of specialized training at level I and level II this time, the appraisal team has contributed detailed notes on the program, teaching content, teaching staff, practice facilities, as well as conditions on facilities to meet the quality assurance for each training major.

Previously, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has successfully trained 13 postgraduate courses with more than 1,800 students of 58 majors. Particularly, the Faculty of Pharmacy has been training university pharmacists since 2017, currently the total number of full-time students is 331. In addition, the Faculty of Pharmacy annually organizes continuous training for doctors, pharmacists, and nurses. nursing, medical staff; vocational skills for students and those in need with an average of 20 classes/year, the total number of students is more than 2,700.
